The National Union of Protestant Reformed Evangelical Churches of France (French: ''Union nationale des Églises protestantes réformées évangéliques de France'', abbr. ''UNEPREF''), better known as the Evangelical Reformed Churches of France, is a Reformed denomination in France. It has currently around 10,600 members〔(www.reformiert-online.net/adressen/detail.php?id=12188&lg=eng )〕 spread over 68 churches, predominant in the Paris area, the southwest, and the southeast of France.〔http://www.eglises.org/types/unepref/historique/?Langue=en〕〔http://www.eglises.org/types/unepref/statistiques/〕 == History == The Evangelical Reformed Churches of France was founded in 1938 as the continuation of the Evangelical Reformed Church of France.〔http://www.eglises.org/types/unepref/historique/?Langue=en〕 Led by pastor Marc Boegner, four Protestant denominations in France started a process of collaboration. This resulted in their merger into the Reformed Church of France in 1938 . These denominations were:〔http://www.eglise-reformee.fr/erf/Decouvrir-les-protestants/Qui-sommes-nous〕 * the Evangelical Reformed Church of France (majority); * the Union of Reformed Churches (completely); * the Free Evangelical Churches (minority); * the Methodist church (majority). A minority of more conservative churches in the Evangelical Reformed Church of France feared theological liberty. Therefore they continued their current denomination under the name ''National Union of Independent Reformed Evangelical Churches of France'' (EREI or UNEREI) with the emphasis on 'independent'.〔http://erei.free.fr/historique.htm〕 In March 2009, the denomination changed its name to ''National Union of Protestant Reformed Evangelical Churches of France'' (UNEPREF).〔http://www.ereistjean.com/erei.html〕 Local churches, however, are still referred to as 'evangelical reformed churches'. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「National Union of Independent Reformed Evangelical Churches of France」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
